Shortly after Finn was diagnosed with SELENON in 2020, the Swings for Finn Golf Tournament became our first fundraiser. Our extended family rallied behind us and we hosted a golf tournament seven months later. Year four of the tournament is sure to be another success as we sold out in 2021, 2022, and 2023 raising over $255,000 thus far. Swings for Finn proceeds funded two research grants in 2023 giving treatment real hope!

The day is filled with great food, drink, raffles and prizes!

A Note From The Tournament Founder, Travis Holmes

I try to live my life by one simple quote, "Do the greatest possible amount of good" and as I was relaxing over the holidays in 2020, I wondered what I could do to help my cousin's 1 year old son. Finn had just been diagnosed with a rare form of congenital muscular dystrophy, SELENON. I thought about my extended family, about how much we love to compete in sporting events and Swings for Finn was born. From the beginning, the goal has been to help my family members and to give them hope by helping to raise funds for research and by changing the lives of the individuals and families struggling with this disease. When good people come together and work towards a common goal, there is no doubt that real differences are made in the world. Thank you for your support of this event - you are making a real difference.
